Tikvat Yisrael is thrilled to announce Shabbat TY 11

When: Friday September 19th, 2008, 6:45 PM

100 West 84th Street (at Columbus Avenue, entrance on 84th street)

This program will feature:

* THREE prayer services:
-- Kehilat Hadar(traditional egalitarian): An independent, egalitarian community committed to spirited traditional prayer, study and social action.
-- Liberal Minyan: A lively, egalitarian Shabbat service in Hebrew and English. We'll approach traditional prayers with singing, poetry, and moments of meditative reflection.
-- Orthodox Minyan: This service strives to provide a lively and inclusive prayer environment with lots of singing, consistent with the tenets of traditional orthodox halakhah, containing a full mechitzah, male-led davening, and traditional liturgy.

* A full Shabbat dinner following services

* An after dinner session: "5768: The Jewish Year in Review"

The admission price for dinner is $23 before September 16th, $28 after. A $1.50 surcharge applies for credit card transactions.
