This program will feature:
* THREE prayer services:
-- Traditional Egalitarian: Ansche Chesed and Kehilat Hadar will be teaming up to provide a spirited, exciting, traditional egalitarian prayer experience.
-- Kehilat Romemu (liberal) seeks to integrate body, heart, mind and spirit in Jewish practice. Unabashedly eclectic, our services reflect the Kabbalistic model of the four worlds and feature traditional liturgy as well as ecstatic chant, yoga and meditation, joyous song and quiet contemplation.
-- Orthodox Minyan: Shmuel Bodenheimer, of B'samim, will lead a service filled with lively and inclusive prayer, in an environment with lots of singing, consistent with the tenets of traditional orthodox halakhah, containing a full mechitzah, male-led davening, and traditional liturgy.
* A full Shabbat dinner following services
* Also, Rabbi Adam Mintz, Rabbi of Kehilat Rayim Ahuvim, visiting professor of Jewish History at Queens College and the
immediate past president of the New York Board of Rabbis: "Underpinnings of Orthodox Judaism."
